When to renew
Renew about 30 days before expiry. That leaves time to complete validation and install without any gap. Today a new certificate is valid for roughly a year, and industry rules are steadily shortening that - so a reminder in your calendar helps.
How to renew with us
From your dashboard, the Renew action adds the same product and term to your cart and takes you to checkout. After payment you set it up just like a new certificate - we recommend generating a fresh CSR - then complete domain validation and install.
Renew vs reactivate
These are different. Renewing is a fresh purchase for a new term. Reactivating is the free reissue you do inside an existing multi-year plan - you don't pay again, you just get the next certificate in the plan.
Don't lose HTTPS
The moment a certificate expires, browsers show a full-page security warning. Renew early and install promptly - a short overlap costs nothing, downtime costs trust.
